3 Days Jinja Source of the Nile Tour
Tour Overview
Day 1: Kampala to Jinja
Leave Kampala for Jinja City. The first stopover will be at Ssezibwa Cultural Site. Proceed to Mabira Eco Tourism Site where you will do a nature walk and see different bird species, black and white colobus monkeys plus velvet monkeys. After lunch head to Jinja City.
Day 2: Source of the Nile River
Drive to Itanda/Kalagala Falls to see the rapids. Lunch will be served here. Afterwards drive back to Jinja town to the actual Source of the Nile River where we shall reach through a boat ride and see where Nile River leaves Lake Victoria.
Day 3: Jinja to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast drive back to Jinja town for the subsequent end of the tour.

Your Itinerary
Begin your journey with an early morning departure from Kampala or Entebbe. Enjoy a scenic drive through rural landscapes, with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking (optional). Continue to the park, arriving in the afternoon. Check into your lodge and relax as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
Start the day with an early morning game drive across the northern plains of the park. This is the best time to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile. This relaxing journey brings you up close to hippos, crocodiles, and countless bird species as you approach the base of the falls. The view of the waterfall from below is nothing short of spectacular.
After breakfast, visit the top of Murchison Falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile crashing through the narrow gorge. Feel the mist and hear the thunder of the water as it plunges below.
Later, begin your return journey to Kampala or Entebbe, with optional stops along the way for lunch and photography. Arrival in the evening marks the end of an unforgettable safari experience.
